For Turkey Day this year, we’re stuffing thinkpipes with new features and functionality. We’ll be releasing our newest build Thursday morning (5:30am CST). We encourage you to allow extra time for the update to process on Friday morning. The following items will be available after the upgrade:

Instant Messaging with
thinkPipes support

Messaging (the turkey):

In an effort to more efficiently support our growth, we’ve implemented fully integrated instant messaging functionality in the application. There are 2 means for messaging with respective support teams:

  • Click the “Help” menu from the top tool bar and select “request support.”
  • Add the live support component somewhere in your application and click “open chat.”

Chat histories will be stored in your live support component for 10 days to reference later. Admin users can initiate conversation to their respective customer base as well.

CME market depth

Futures Trading (the stuffing):

We’re stepping a little further into futures trading by delivering CME market depth into the Level II component (CBOT products will be available early next year). For information on enabling futures routing email support@thinkpipes.com, call 866-547-8431, or try the new messaging system.

Odds and Ends (the gravy):

  • You can now hide intraday flat positions from your risk analysis page through the settings-analytics menu.
  • Account name field is available in the configuration menu for the activity and order book components.
  • Improved alert precision for Volatility based alerts.
  • NASDAQ quotes on options will be available Dec 7th as part of NBBO, as a direct routing destination, Level II, and region quote components.
