We’re introducing not only one, but two “firsts” for any institutional trading application with our newest build to be delivered on Tuesday, February 26 at 5:30am CST: the Strike “Matrista” and embedded CNBC video. We encourage you to allow extra time for the update to process on Tuesday morning. The following items will be available after the upgrade:

Strike Matritsa (Russian for matrix):

First, you can now right click over a specific strike on the option montage to quickly view that expiration for the strike in relation to all other expirations.

White Background:

If the traditional black color scheme doesn’t go with your outfit, try the white! Switch to the white background from the configuration button when you log in to the application or within “Settings > Display settings” while logged in.

Live CNBC:

CNBC video

For those that can’t get enough “Squawkbox” you can now play CNBC directly in the application. To add the live feed in any attached or detached window, select the CNBC Video from any component menu dropdown.

Odds and Ends:

  • Select “all options” from the security dropdown menu in the order book to quickly filter just your option trades.
  • Auto selection from symbol entry boxes to expedite flipping through symbols in Level II, Regional Quotes, and the Option Montage.
  • Many usability improvements to make color and display changes easier.
