Release Notes
May 20, 2008
We’ll be releasing our newest build Wed, May 21st at 3:30am CDT. We encourage you to allow extra time for the update to process on Wednesday morning. The following items will be available after the upgrade:
OrderBook:
In the spirit of baseball we’ve juiced up the order book:
- Wrench in the top right hand corner to allow for button configuration. Look for the bubble when you first log in.
- Added configurable “Tick Buttons” to quickly replace existing orders. Configure your price increments from the wrench icon.
- Filter by security type.
- Current and historical views (also in Activity tab).
- Sort columns in the “Fill Summary” tab of the details section.
Quote Monitor and Quote Ticker:
You can now link either component using the existing “link” function in the application — so as you click on a new symbol from your lists, linked components will change as well.
Shadow Trader:
Adding to the media tools, we are introducing thinkorswim’s very own Shadow Trader. You can add the component to your layout to listen to live running market commentary directly in the application.
Complex Quotes/Alert Book:
You can right click over your complex quote list to create alerts on your custom quotes or enter them directly in the alert book.
Odds and Ends:
- Open/Close designation is now part of the order confirmation dialog box.
- Added a column for “Close” in the option montage for closing price.
- Column Configurations are now sorted alphabetically.
- Installer pages have been updated to run all new version of operating systems, both PC and MAC.
- Java API: Build scripts using BAT files.
We hope you enjoy the new set of features and please keep the suggestions coming to support@thinkpipes.com.
NOTE: No action is required on your part. The newest release will be installed the next time you open thinkpipes. Learn more about thinkpipes’ features in the help website.
As always, stay tuned for more updates as we continue to build out and up.
